A few clouds are expected which will be denser in places and at times, especially in Northern Greece where local rains will occur. There is the possibility of temporary rains of a local nature in other areas of the continental body of the country.
The temperature will vary in Western Macedonia from -2 to 13 degrees, in the rest of Northern Greece from -1 to 15, in Epirus from 4 to 17, in Thessaly from 4 to 18 degrees, in the rest of the mainland from 5 to 16-18 degrees, in the Ionian Islands from 7 to 16, in the Aegean islands from 6 to 16 degrees and in Crete from 6 to 17-18 degrees Celsius.
The winds in the Aegean will blow from the north with intensities of 4-5 Beaufort and in the Dodecanese from the north-northwest with intensities of 5-6 Beaufort. In the Ionian Sea, south southwest winds will blow with intensities of up to 4 Beaufort and in the northern seas 5-6 Beaufort.
MACEDONIA, THRACE
Weather: A few clouds temporarily increased in the midday and afternoon hours with local rains mainly in the mountains of Macedonia.
Winds: Variable 3 to 4 Beaufort and in the southern sea coastal parts of eastern directions with the same intensity.
Temperature: From 04 to 15 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia it will be 2 to 4 degrees lower.
IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIROS, WEST STEREA, WEST PELOPONNISOS
Weather: A few clouds temporarily increased mainly in the north and in the midday and afternoon hours there will be local rains mainly in the mountains.
Locally limited visibility in the morning hours.
Winds: Variable, weak, in the Ionian south southeast 3 to 4 and in the northern Ionian 5 and from the night hours locally 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 06 to 18 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus 3 to 5 degrees lower.
EASTERN STEREA, EVIA, EASTERN PELOPONNISOS
Weather: A few clouds temporarily increased and in the midday and afternoon hours there will be local rains in the mountains.
Locally limited visibility in the morning hours.
Winds: From easterly directions 3 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 03 to 17 degrees Celsius.
CYCLADES, CRETE
Weather: Almost clear weather with a few thin clouds.
Winds: Northerly 3 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 09 to 17 degrees Celsius.
EAST AEGEAN ISLANDS – DODECANISE
Weather: Almost clear weather with a few thin clouds.
Winds: From north directions 3 to 4 and in the Dodecanese 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 08 to 18 degrees Celsius. In the north 2 to 3 degrees lower.
THESSALY
Weather: A few clouds temporarily increasing mainly in the midday and afternoon hours, when local rains will occur in the mountains.
Locally limited visibility in the morning hours.
Winds: Southeast 3 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 05 to 16 degrees Celsius.
THESSALONIKI
Weather: A few clouds temporarily increased in the afternoon hours, when local rains will occur mainly in the surrounding mountains.
Winds: Southeast 3 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 08 to 15 degrees Celsius.
ATTICA
Weather: Generally clear with a few temporary clouds in the midday and afternoon hours.
Winds: From north directions 3 to 4 Beaufort, turning from noon to east southeast with the same intensity.
Temperature: From 07 to 18 degrees Celsius.
FORECAST FOR SUNDAY 10-03-2024
In the west and the north, a few clouds at intervals increased with the possibility of local rain in the northwest in the morning hours. In the rest of the country, generally clear weather with sparse clouds from the afternoon.
Visibility in the morning hours will be limited in places on the mainland.
Winds in the west will blow southeast 3 to 5, from noon to Ionian 6 and in the evening locally 7 to 8 Beaufort. In the southeast there will be northwesterly winds of 3 to 5 Beaufort. In the rest of the country, it will initially be changeable conditions, while from noon, south-southeast winds of 3 to 4 Beaufort will blow.
The temperature will rise. In the north it will reach 14 to 16 degrees and in the rest of the regions 17 to 19 degrees Celsius.

Increased cloudiness in the west and north with local rain and sporadic storms from the midday hours in the northern Ionian, Epirus, western Sterea and Macedonia. In the rest of the country, sparse clouds that will gradually thicken.
Conditions favor the transport of African dust mainly to the west and south.
The winds will blow from south directions 4 to 6, locally in the Ionian 7 to 8 Beaufort and from the evening also in the Aegean. A gradual weakening of the winds is expected from the night in the Ionian.
The temperature will rise slightly further and fluctuate at high levels for the season.
FORECAST FOR TUESDAY 12-03-2024
Increased clouds in the west, central and north with local rain and sporadic storms and some snow in the northern highlands. In the rest of the country, a few clouds that will gradually increase and from noon there will be local rains and sporadic storms in the northern Aegean and from the afternoon in the eastern Aegean.
Conditions favor the transport of African dust mainly to the east.
Winds will blow in the west southwest 5 to 6 Beaufort, while in the rest of the areas south 6 to 7 and locally in the Aegean 8 Beaufort.
The temperature will drop slightly in the north.
FORECAST FOR WEDNESDAY 13-03-2024
Clouds temporarily increased in the west, the north and the islands of the eastern Aegean with local rains and isolated storms. In the rest of the regions, a few clouds temporarily increased in the midday and afternoon hours in the continental areas with local rains mainly in the mountains.
Winds will initially blow west southwest 4 to 6 Beaufort and gradually west northwest with the same intensity.
The temperature will not change appreciably.
