According to a comparison commissioned by the British betting company BestBrokers, Italian Air Dolomiti, Serbian Air Serbia and Portuguese Tap Air Portugal were the most late airlines in Europe last year.

According to the comparison, even 43.56 percent of Air Dolomiti’s flights were either delayed or canceled completely during the last year.

The corresponding figure for Air Serbia was 42.29 percent and for Tap Air Portugal 41.99 percent.

Finnair the best

The airlines most used by Finns, Finnair and Norwegian, were among the most accurate in the comparison.

Norwegian was the fifth and Finnair the tenth most punctual on the list. According to the comparison, 16.91 percent of Norwegian’s flights were delayed or cancelled.

On Finnair flights, the figure was 20.41 percent.

In terms of delays, the most catastrophic airports last year were Frankfurt, London Luton and Brussels airport.

60.73 percent of Frankfurt’s flights were delayed or cancelled. Luton’s corresponding figure was 57.82 and Brussels’ 59.79. Brussels Charleroi finished fourth.

Frankfurt Airport’s ranking could have been affected by last year’s massive strike.

According to the comparison, the best schedule remained at the airports of Malta, Warsaw and Stuttgart. Helsinki was ninth in the list of the most punctual airports.

The information for the comparison has been obtained from OAG, a company that collects and provides data in the tourism industry. OAG is one of the strategic partners of the international aviation association IATA.

The comparison did not include airlines or stations that had less than 20,000 passengers last year.
