In the eastern half of Bohemia, weak iceberg can form on Friday morning. The cold front will bring a rain that will freeze on the cold surface, said the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (CHMI) in the warning today.

Exceptionally, the iceberg can also arise in other places in the Czech Republictypically in colder places like valleys.

Warning of the glacier applies to Friday to 09:00. It mainly concerns the Hradec Králové Region, the east of the Liberec Region, most of the Pardubice Region, the Highlands and the Northeast of South Bohemia. In the Central Bohemian Region, the iceberg can form around Čáslav, Kutná Hora and Vlašim.

On Friday morning, the surfaces are warming, the precipitation partially weakens and in places from 400 meters to the sea they pass in snow.

Especially motorists should be cautious because of the glacier because there is an increased number of accidents and transport problems. Older or less mobile people meteorologists recommend limiting walking out.

“The cold front will pass through our territory. Behind it to Central Europe from the West will expand the pressure level. At the end of the period, cold air from the northeast will flow to us at the end of the period, ”said ČHMÚ.
