At the weekend, very cold arctic air is to arrive in the Czech Republic, it will freeze at night. The Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (CHMI) said this morning that it should be critical of Sunday morning and the following night at the beginning of next week. How much temperatures will drop below zero will be refined in the coming days.

“The probability of arctic air invasion during the coming weekend has increased significantly. This year’s crop (not only) apricots will be very likely (again) in danger. But it will depend on the extent to which it will clarify at night, and thus how much temperatures will drop, ”wrote meteorologists.

The Arctic air, which will probably arrive on Saturday from the north, will be very cold for this part of the year. When the temperature is clarified, the temperature will fall even more below zero. “In addition, the second half of the working week will be very warm, on Thursday and Friday the temperature will rise even above 15 degrees Celsius and will usually be sunny,” CHMI said. The exact values ​​of the night minimum will not be specified only during the week.

Already during Friday, clouds will start from the northeast in the Czech Republic, on Saturday the sky will be pulled and in some places the showers, which can be from the middle positions of snow. The highest daily temperatures meteorologists predict on Saturday to 13 degrees Celsius, in the following days only to eight degrees, at night the wound will drop below freezing from Sunday.
