The highest prices will be noted tomorrow, while on Wednesday, although the temperatures in the upper atmosphere begin to fall, the prices will remain high due to thermal inertia, while at the same time westerly descending winds will play a decisive role in the eastern continents.

Weather: The first “heat wave” is just around the corner – African dust is not abating
The African dust persists and with it the heat, which is expected to peak in the coming days.
According to the weather forecast, Tuesday will be the worst day as the African dust wave is at its worst.
The heat made its presence felt in Athens yesterday Sunday (19.5.2024), while as everything shows the first really warm days are here. According to the meteorologist, Sakis Arnautoglou, in the weather forecast, the temperature on Wednesday seems to be at high levels.
The high temperatures will be maintained in the coming days with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius.

Weather: Detailed forecast for the whole country
Generally clear with sparse clouds, temporarily denser in the midday and afternoon hours in the continental areas, so local rains will occur in the mountains.
Visibility will be locally limited in the morning hours in the central and northern continental areas and fog is likely to form.
The transport of African dust is favoured, which will show the greatest concentrations in the west and south.
Winds in the west will be variable up to 4 Beaufort and locally in the south will blow from easterly directions 5 to 6 Beaufort. In the rest of the country, winds will blow from north directions 3 to 5 and locally in the Aegean up to 6 Beaufort.
The temperature will rise slightly in the western country and in the central and southern continents. It will reach 26 to 28 degrees in the north, 30 to 32 degrees in the rest of the country, locally 33 degrees in the west, while in southern Crete it will reach 34 degrees Celsius.
