Weather variability, according to meteorologist Dagmar Honsová, is due to a band of strong winds in the upper troposphere.

“It brings in one depression after another from the Atlantic, which is why the weather changes so often,” she said.

After today’s cooling with showers, the thermometer will fly up again from tomorrow. On Wednesday, we will measure up to 33 °C.

On Monday, meteorologists report clear to partly cloudy, rarely foggy in the morning. Lowest night temperatures 14 to 10 °C, highest daytime temperatures 23 to 27 °C. However, it will gradually warm up.

How will the next few days be?

• Tuesday … Clear or almost clear. Night 12 to 8 °C, day 26 to 30 °C, in the northeast around 25 °C.
• Wednesday … Clear to semi-clear. Night 15 to 11 °C, day 29 to 33 °C.
• Thursday …Clear to partly cloudy, increasing clouds from the west and occasional showers or thunderstorms, especially in Bohemia. Night 18 to 14 °C, day 29 to 33 °C, in the southeast up to 35 °C.
• Friday to Sunday … Cloudy at first, with occasional showers or thunderstorms. Gradually to partly cloudy and showers only occasionally. Night 19 to 14 °C, day 24 to 28 °C, on Sunday up to 31 °C.
