EMY’s weather forecast for Friday, January 3
A few clouds temporarily increasing mainly in the west and east and south Aegean, where there will be local rains. Visibility in the morning hours will be locally limited and fog will form. The winds will blow south southwest 3 to 4 and in the Aegean 4 to 5 Beaufort.
The temperature will not change significantly and will reach 14 degrees in the north, 15 to 17 degrees in the rest of the regions and 18 degrees Celsius locally in the southern Aegean. In the north-western continental areas in the morning hours there will be frost in places.

MACEDONIA, THRACE
Weather: Generally sunny with a few temporary clouds in the morning hours. Clouds will develop again in the evening.
Winds: Variable 3 to 4 and in the east southwest to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 01 to 12 to 14 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia the minimum temperature will be 3 to 4 degrees lower.
IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIROS, WEST STEREA, WEST PELOPONNISOS

THESSALY
Weather: Generally sunny with a few temporary clouds in the morning hours.
Winds: Southwest 3 to 4 and in the Sporades 4 to 5 Beaufort.

EMY’s forecast for the weather on Saturday, January 4
Increased clouds and mainly in the west and the east and south Aegean rains. Sporadic storms will occur in the southeast (Dodecanese – Crete region). Temporary snowfalls will occur in the mountains of Epirus and Macedonia. In the evening the phenomena in the Ionian and most continental areas will stop.
Winds in the southeast will be south southeast 3 to 5 Beaufort. In the rest of the country, initially west-southwest winds of 3 to 5 Beaufort will blow, but quickly in the west and north and gradually in the rest of the regions they will turn to northerly directions and in the northeastern Aegean they will strengthen to 5 to 6 Beaufort.
The temperature will drop in the north where it will not exceed 9 to 11 degrees, while it will reach 15 to 17 degrees in the rest of the regions and locally 18 degrees Celsius in the southern Aegean.

In the Cyclades, Crete and the Dodecanese, clouds are predicted with local rains and sporadic storms, but gradually the weather will improve. In the rest of the country, a few clouds temporarily increased in the morning hours, so there will be light rains in the Sporades and Evia. Winds will blow from north directions 3 to 5 and in the Aegean locally 6 Beaufort. The temperature will drop slightly in the south. In the northwest in the morning hours there will be local frost.

Almost clear weather across the country. Cloudy in the west and north from the afternoon. Visibility in the morning hours will be locally limited and fog will form. Winds will initially blow from northerly directions at 3 to 5 Beaufort, but gradually they will turn to west southwest and at night in the northern Ionian Sea, south southeast winds up to 6 Beaufort will prevail.
