weather forecast for the coming days

Israel is expected to experience a brief period of warming that will peak on Thursday. According to weather forecasters, air temperatures in most parts of the country will be above seasonal values. However, on Friday there will be a sharp cooling – the thermometers may drop by 10-12 degrees.

In addition to temperature fluctuations, forecasters warn of possible weather risks. Fog is likely across central areas, the southern coastal plain and valleys this evening and overnight, which may significantly reduce visibility. Easterly winds are also expected to strengthen in the northern and central mountainous regions.

Friday will be a turning point: along with the colder weather, rain will begin in the north of the country. By Saturday, precipitation will spread to the center, southern coastal plain and northern Negev. In some places, heavy rain is possible during the night hours, which will ease by morning. There will be a chance of localized precipitation during the day on Saturday. In addition, another powerful wave of rain is expected next week.

Clear to partly cloudy skies are forecast for Tuesday. In the mountains in the north there will be a strong easterly wind in the morning. Temperatures will rise slightly and remain above normal, especially in continental areas. On the coast and in the lowlands, slight temperature fluctuations are possible.

On Wednesday, partly cloudy skies and a slight increase in temperatures are expected in the north and central mountainous regions. The weather will remain warm and above normal for this time of year on Thursday, but the country will return to cooler winter conditions the following day.

Earlier, Kursor wrote that the weather service warned of a sharp cold snap.
