Very high temperatures are forecast in our country from Sunday (06-07-25) to Wednesday (09-07-25). The rise in temperature will begin in west and Macedonia today Saturday (05-07-25) and the rest of Greece tomorrow (06-07-25). The highest prices (maximum prices above 40 points) will be marked by Monday (07-07-25) within mainland Greece and mainly in the west, central and north.

It is noted that:

A. In the coastal areas of the mainland the maximum temperature value will be 2 to 4 degrees lower than the temperature inside the mainland Greece.

B. The relative humidity will range at low levels (for example 20% to 30% in the midday hours inside the mainland).

C. Minimum temperatures, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in urban centers will be held high and will range around 26 to 28 degrees Celsius.

In more detail:

1. On Sunday (06-07-25) high temperatures will prevail in all continents and the Ionian Sea. The maximum prices will arrive:

a) In Macedonia, Thessaly, Epirus and Western Solidarity 38 to 39 and possibly local 40 degrees Celsius.

(b) In the eastern solid and the Peloponnese 37 to 39 degrees Celsius.

c) In the Ionian islands 35 to 36 degrees Celsius.

2. On Monday (07-07-25) very high temperatures will occur in the Ionian Islands and all continents while the temperature will rise in the eastern island country. The maximum prices will arrive:

a) In mainland Greece 39 to 40 and locally 41 degrees Celsius.

b) In the Ionian Islands, the islands of the eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese 36 to 38 degrees Celsius.

3. On Tuesday (08-07-25) and Wednesday (09-07-25), a slight drop in high temperatures in the Ionian and west continental and slight rise (about 1 to 2 degrees) in the eastern continents and the Aegean. It is estimated that the maximum prices will reach 41 to 42 degrees Celsius.
