Warm temperatures in the capital than in Marseille at the end of the week

During the wave of sweetness currently affecting mainland France, temperatures largely exceeding seasonal normals are expected. It should even be hotter in Paris than in Marseille for Saturday.

A very soft weekend in anticipation. The weather will be far above seasonal averages for a large part of the metropolitan territory for the days of Friday 4, Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 April due to high pressures.

“We include 23 ° C in Paris in particular (for Friday day, editor’s note), which corresponds to the monthly normal (1991/2020) of the month of June”, announces Météo France.

According to forecasts for the weather service, the temperature will even be higher in Paris than in Marseille for Saturday. After 12 ° C during the morning, the thermometer will climb up to 22 ° C in the afternoon and stagnate at 21 ° C during the evening on the side of the capital. A blue sky without disturbance is announced.

Temperatures from June to April

“The peak of sweetness will be reached on the country with values ​​sometimes 5 to 8 degrees above seasonal normal,” reports Météo France, which therefore recalls that these temperatures are abnormal for the season.

In Marseille, if the sunshine is also guaranteed, the temperatures will be slightly cooler with 19 ° C in the afternoon of Saturday and 16 ° C during the evening. For the weather channel, forecasts give a clearer gap between the two metropolises. 24 ° C for Saturday afternoon in Paris, against 20 ° C in Marseille.

Note that the day of Sunday in Paris promises to be cooler with an afternoon at 18 ° C and 17 ° C during the evening, the same temperature in Marseille.
