The business which opened its doors in Thury is located in the town hall building and is coming back to life after two years of closure. It is Sofia Pereira Da Silva, 32, and her partner Emmanuel Farcy who have occupied the accommodation adjoining the postal office, inaugurated by the municipality in June, since June.
The young woman runs the grocery store while her husband works at La Poste and supports her during certain opening hours of the grocery store. It is a project that was thought about and prepared for a long time, thanks to their friend, Mikaël Bolzan, municipal councilor in Thury, who died in January and about whom they say they are “thinking hard”. The establishment, light and bright, is already well stocked and the refrigerated cabinets will soon be operational to offer local cold cuts and cheeses.
