British Karie Jane runs a nudist hotel in Fuerteventura, Canary Islands – and emphasizes that the naturist lifestyle is not about sex.

When clothes are taken off, respect for others is more important than sexual attraction, according to Jane.

– In every situation, it is etiquette to behave respectfully and thoughtfully towards others, he describes in the Daily Mail.

A good example of this is the strict rule followed at Jane’s BHH Naturist Resort. You don’t sit on anything with your backside bare, but always put a towel underneath. It is hygienic and considerate of others.

Jane lists other mistakes that her hotel cannot fall into. When you sit, you sit with your feet neatly together. Everyone knows that there are genitals between them, but they don’t necessarily want to see them.

Respecting others also means not photographing other people’s bodies without their permission or poking fun at them.

He also tells his clients to look each other in the eye when they talk. Not below them. It is most polite.

For those arriving after the bare surface, Jane has strict advice: rather buy the industry magazine and stay at home. He wants to offer his customers a space where they can safely enjoy the sense of freedom brought by not wearing clothes.

What about an erection?

What if one of the guests gets an erection? How is it treated?

– That can happen, especially if you are not an experienced nudist, Jane admits.

The best way to treat it is to cover the erection with a towel or go into the water if it happens at the beach.

And you shouldn’t show the downtime to others. If someone deliberately tries to attract the attention of others, they have the right to ask the staff to remove the disruptive behavior from the place.

Most of the time they are also escorted out of the resort and there is no coming back.

The Finnish naturist association Luonnonmukaiset ry has also stated that sex does not belong to naturism. Staring at others and introducing yourself are also not ideal activities.
