If the day is less rainy than the day before, clouds dominate the whole of France. The south-eastern quarter sees the summer continue, with lots of sunshine and temperatures reaching 28°C.

The weather is very contrasting, including clouds over a large part of France and rain, from the Center Val de Loire to the Grand Est in the morning and in the Mediterranean and in the Basque Country at the end of the day, announces The Weather Channel *.

Cloudy morning

Throughout the territory the weather is very cloudy, with the exception of the Mediterranean areas where you can still enjoy the sun. However, some rain is expected from the Center Val de Loire to the Grand Est, via the Paris basin.

The temperatures are very heterogeneous: it is 8°C in Nantes, 9°C in Saint-Étienne and up to 19°C in Marseille.

Summer afternoon on the Côte d’Azur

Showers continue in the Grand Est, while clearings return to Hauts-de-France. The sun holds out in the south-eastern quarter with a summer feeling on the Côte d’Azur. However, heavy rain is expected at the end of the day in the Basque Country.

The temperatures are once again very contrasting, with 14°C in Nancy, 17°C in Paris, while summer continues in Nice where it is 28°C.

Rain persists into the evening

Clouds alternate with clearings across the entire territory and the sky becomes cloudy in the south-east before the rains arrive in the Mediterranean. They also extend south of the Garonne and are sometimes sustained.

Forecast for the next few days

Thursday and Friday will be the two most beautiful days of the week with a dominant sun, even if you will have to cover up in the morning with an accentuated coolness.

Be careful, however, on Thursday, where heavy rain could affect the Côte d’Azur and Corsica. This nice improvement could also persist until the weekend.
