What are the richest cities in Italy? An interesting map, edited by the newspaper Corriere della Serashow all the details.

According to data on Italian incomes declared in 2023with tax year 2022 and published by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, is
Portofino, in the province of Genoa, the most municipality rich in Italy. The town stands at the top of the ranking with a very high average income of 90,610 euros per persondue to 301 taxpayers who have their tax headquarters locally.

In second place is A barker (Pisa) and third Basiglio
(Milan, with 5,700 self-employed workers), historically two municipalities that have always been very rich. They follow Briaglia (Wedge),
Courage (Milan) e Island Tower (Pavia). As many as 17 of the 30 richest belong to Lombardy and then there are Piedmont, Liguria, Emilia Romagna and Valle d’Aosta.

There are very few situations in the Centre-South with very high incomes, among which they stand out Rome, Cagliari and a few locations scattered between Campania, Puglia, Calabria and Sicily, not present in the Top-30.
