In Central Macedonia (Halkidiki and Pieria region), Eastern Macedonia, Thrace, Eastern Thessaly, Sporades, Eastern Solidarity, Euboea and the Peloponnese, few clouds transiently increased with local rains or rainfall.

In the rest of the country generally cloudy weather, with a few temporary clouds in the afternoon – afternoon in the rest of the continental mountains and the mountains of Crete.

Ionian Islands, Epirus, Western Solid, Western Peloponnese

Weather: Generally cloudy. In the afternoon – afternoon a few clouds transiently increased on the continents with local rainstorms in western Solidarity and western Peloponnese.

Winds: northeast 3 to 5 and gradually in the Ionian northwest 6 to 7 beaufort.

Temperature: from 22 to 34 and continental local 35 to 36 degrees Celsius.

EASTERN Solid, EVIA, EASTERN PELOPONNESE

Weather: Generally cloudy, with few temporary clouds in the midday – afternoon hours in the mountains of Crete, where local rainstorms are likely to occur.

Weather: Generally cloudy.

THESSALY

Weather: A few clouds temporarily increased with local rains or rainstorms initially in eastern Thessaly and Sporades and noon – afternoon in the continental mountains. Improvement from late in the afternoon.

Winds: From northern directions 4 to 5 and east local 6 to 7 beaufort with gradual weakening in the afternoon.

Temperature: from 22 to 34 degrees Celsius.

ATTICA

Weather: A few clouds temporarily increased with local rains or rainstorms, mainly in the west and north, until early in the afternoon.

Winds: north northeast 5 to 6 and east 7 to 8 beaufort.

Temperature: from 24 to 32 degrees Celsius. To the east 2 to 3 degrees lower.

Thessaloniki

Weather: A few clouds temporarily increased with local rains or rainstorms, mainly in the surrounding mountains until the afternoon.

Winds: north -northwest 4 to 5 and in the mornings local 6 beaufort. From the afternoon southern southeast 4 to 5 beaufort.

Temperature: from 23 to 33 degrees Celsius.

PROPERTY FOR ADMINISTRY MONDAY 30-06-2025

Generally cloudy weather with few clouds temporarily increased in Eastern Macedonia and Thrace and in the midday and afternoon hours in the northern continental mountains.

The winds to the west will initially blow east 3 to 4, in the Ionian local 5 beaufort and from noon northwest with the same intensity. In the east they will blow from northern directions 4 to 6, in the Aegean local 7 and temporary to the south to 8 beaufort with at night.

The temperature will rise slightly to the east. It will reach the mainland and the islands of June 33 to 35, in the rest of their island country 28 to 30 and locally in southern Crete and the Dodecanese 31 to 32 degrees Celsius.

PROPERTY FOR THIRD 01-07-2025

Generally cloudy weather with a few temporary clouds on the continents in the midday and afternoon hours, so local rainstorms are likely to occur in the northeast mountains.

The winds will blow from northern directions to the west 3 to 4, temporary in the Ionian 5, east 4 to 6 and Aegean local 7 beaufort.

The temperature will make a slight further rise.

The temperature will not note a significant change.

Weather: Very high risk of fire – 10 areas at risk

The fire prediction map issued by the General Secretariat for Civil Protection of the Ministry of Climate Crisis & Civil Protection is in “Red” for at least 10 areas including Attica.

Specific extreme risk of fire – Alarm status (Risk category 5) is currently forecast Sunday in Attica, Crete, Kythira, Evia, Laconia and areas of the North Aegean, according to the Fire Risk Prediction Charter issued by the Civil Protection of Civil Protection.

In addition, a very high risk (risk category 4) and a high risk of fire (risk category 3) is currently foreseen in both the other island country and in many areas of the mainland.

In particular:

Extreme Fire Risk – Alarm Status (risk category 5) is provided for the following areas:

– Attica Region (including the island of Kythera)

– Region of Central Greece (Evia IP – except for Skyros)

– Peloponnese Region (Laconia IP)

– District of Crete

– Northern Aegean Region (IP Lesvos, IP Chios, PE Samos, PE Ikaria)

Very high risk of fire (risk category 4) is provided for the following areas:

– Peloponnese Region

– Region of Western Greece (Achaia, IP Ilias)

– Region of Central Greece (PE Boeotia, PE Fthiotida, IP of Evia including the island of Skyros)

– Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace (IP Thassos, IP Rodopi, IP Evros including the island of Samothrace)

– Northern Aegean Region (IP Lemnos)

– South Aegean Region

In increased alert the Municipality of Athens – Lycabettus closes

All the services of the Municipality of Athens have been raised on the alert, due to the very high risk of fire and the strong winds expected to prevail. Taking into account the measures provided for in Attica in alarm situations, the Lycabettus hill will remain closed for any activity until newer.

According to the Civil Protection Plan of the Municipality of Athens, alert workers will be patrolled 24 -hour. The Municipal Police Directorate is on the alert of soil and air with drones, to control hills and areas of increased risk. It is noted that the thermal camera, which allows to detect temperature changes, will mirror large green spaces in the city center. Aquifers of the Municipality will also be on alert.

The Municipal Police Center will operate on a 24 -hour basis for the information and assistance of the Fire Brigade, as well as other services and municipalities, if needed.
