As the meteorologists report, the instability of the previous days is subsiding and from today the temperature will rise. In fact, the weather will be quite warm with temperatures staying high for days.
The onslaught of the heat wave is expected to last at least a week.
According to the latest forecast of ERT meteorologist, Christina Rigou, during the weekend, the mercury will reach up to 36 degrees in some areas, while from the new week it cannot be ruled out that it will climb up to 39.
Temperatures will be high until the end of the first week of June with a slight drop over the weekend of the European elections.
The thermometer will start rising from this Friday.
Saturday: 30 – 33°C

In Attica, on Monday and Tuesday it seems that the highest temperatures will be recorded, up to 38 degrees Celsius.

The weather is forecast to be generally clear with a few local clouds in the central and northern continental areas, which in the midday and afternoon hours will temporarily increase and in Thrace and eastern Macedonia there will be local rains or showers.
Visibility in the morning hours in the west will be locally limited.
Winds will blow from south directions 3 to 5 and locally in the Aegean 6 Beaufort.
The temperature will rise slightly and reach 29 to 30 degrees on the mainland as well as Crete, 31 to 32 degrees in places on the eastern mainland and 27 to 28 degrees Celsius in the rest of the island regions.

Temperature: From 15 to 29 and locally up to 30 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus it will be 3 to 4 degrees lower.
EASTERN STEREA, EVIA, EASTERN PELOPONNISOS
Weather: Generally clear with a few clouds temporarily increasing in the midday and afternoon hours.
Winds: From south directions 3 to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 13 to 30 and locally 31 to 32 degrees Celsius.

The weather is forecast to be clear. From the midday hours in the Ionian and in the central and northern continental areas, clouds will develop and local rains or showers will occur. In the evening, the phenomena will stop.
Winds in the eastern Aegean will blow northwesterly at 4 to 5 Beaufort. In the rest of the country 2 to 4 Beaufort will be variable. Sea breezes will blow in coastal areas during the midday hours.
The temperature will see a slight further rise mainly in the south. It will reach 32 to 34 degrees in the northern continents, 34 to 35 degrees in the rest of the continents and 36 degrees in places and 32 to 33 degrees Celsius in the island country. In the areas where sea breeze will prevail, the maximum temperatures will be 3 to 4 degrees lower.
