A man was found dead in the stairwell of his apartment building in Sartrouville (Yvelines) on August 14, BFM Paris Île-de-France learned from concordant sources confirming information from Parisian.

The man, aged around fifty, was found naked by a neighbour who was passing under the porch of the building on her way out of her house.

Two preferred tracks

The man’s body showed head trauma, including “traumatic impact points that could be the cause of his death,” the Versailles judicial court explained on Wednesday, August 21. “The autopsy did not allow a formal conclusion to be drawn as to whether or not there had been the intervention of a third party,” the prosecution continued.

According to information from Le Parisien, which we are able to confirm, two possibilities are being considered: the intervention of a third party, or an alteration of behavior.

“Other technical investigations are underway, including a toxicological analysis,” responded the Versailles judicial court.
