THE New Year’s Eve celebration at Lorin Hotel Sentul with Syariah Hotel Sentul was lively, presenting a New Year’s Eve celebration entitled “Pesta Hura”, a folk entertainment party concept that combines the warmth of local culture, culinary offerings typical of market snacks, and modern entertainment in a series of lively events.
Carrying the spirit of togetherness, people’s parties and the joy of welcoming the new year, Lorin Hotel Sentul wants to present a different experience from previous years. Not just a party, but also a space for families, couples and companies to celebrate the beginning of 2026 with meaning.
The concept of the Hura Party is taken from the philosophy of people’s entertainment parties, which are synonymous with a warm, festive atmosphere, full of laughter and togetherness. However, interestingly, even though it carries a folk theme, Lorin Hotel Sentul still presents it with the luxury typical of a star hotel.
Fazrin Rizki Septiadi, GM Cluster Hotel Lorin Sentul & Lorin Syariah Hotel Sentul, explained that this concept was designed to reach all groups.
“We want to present something down to earth, which is close to the people. It’s called a people’s party, but we still maintain luxury in terms of decoration and service. We want guests to feel the warmth and simplicity of the people’s atmosphere, but still enjoy the service standards of a star hotel,” said Fazrin.
One of the main attractions of the Hura Festival is the culinary offerings. This year, Lorin Hotel Sentul presents an all you can eat buffet concept which combines various menus from Asian, Western, to typical Indonesian market snacks.
According to Adinda Jasin, F&B Manager of Hotel Lorin Sentul, this year’s food concept was deliberately made more varied so that all guests can enjoy according to their individual tastes.
“We combine a lot of menu choices. There is Asian food such as tom yum, Korean food such as tteokbokki, Chinese food, to Western food such as spaghetti, cordon bleu, and various other Italian menus. But what is special, we also present market snacks and street food such as taichan satay, chocolate fruit, chocolate pizza, and many more,” explained Adinda.
Not only that, Lorin Hotel Sentul also presents a beverage corner with a Tiki Bar concept, which is usually synonymous with a beach atmosphere. This area is a favorite place for guests to enjoy various drinks while relaxing and enjoying the New Year’s Eve atmosphere.
Different from previous years, which often invited artists from the capital, this year Lorin Hotel Sentul chose to empower local musicians. “John Angels Band, known as “Indonesia’s Bon Jovi”, was the main performer after previously successfully entertaining guests at the Halloween Tribute to Bon Jovi event.”
Not only that, the performance of “Make Happy” also enlivened the atmosphere with the trending DJ Karaoke music style.
As a form of concern for the national situation, especially regarding disasters that have occurred in several regions of Indonesia, Lorin Hotel Sentul has decided not to set off fireworks during this year’s celebrations.
This decision was taken following the direction and appeal of the government, including the President of the Republic of Indonesia, so that celebrations are carried out more wisely and with empathy.
Instead, Lorin Hotel Sentul prepared a large videotron and firework stage in the main stage area. The mini fireworks effect on the stage will still be present during the moment countdownso that the atmosphere of the New Year still feels festive and spectacular.

This year is a very exciting moment for Lorin Hotel Sentul. Room occupancy and the number of dinner guests increased significantly compared to the previous year.
“Thank God, for this New Year’s Eve, our rooms are full and the number of dinner guests is over 300 people. Our target is 650, but with the current conditions and the restaurant area being full, we are very grateful because the public’s interest is extraordinary,” said Fazrin.
The Trophy and Podium restaurants will certainly be full of guests who come to celebrate the New Year with their families and loved ones.
