In the Guatemala Cityhe Sports Museum It is a cultural space dedicated to telling the national sports historywho built it and how it has evolved. The museum functions as a interactive tour that combines data, objects and digital experiences to bring the public closer to the achievements of Chapin athletes. It is designed for all audiences and can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday in zone 4 of the capital, with free entry and accessible hours.

The tour begins on the second level with the federated sports exhibition, divided into five areas and an outdoor gallery. The first section addresses the beginning of the federated sport in Guatemala. A timeline shows how clubs and leagues changed until they became sports federations and associationsmarking a before and after in the organization of the national sport.

The second area, called History and Milestones, presents key moments of the Guatemalan sport. Important dates and processes that led to the establishment of the Constitutional Autonomy of Federated Sports are explained here. The information is presented clearly, with short texts and visual support.

To measure and reinforce what has been learned, the museum has Deportrivia. This space allows you to participate in digital and manual games with curious questions and dynamics. The idea is to learn without realizing it, challenge yourself and share the moment with friends or family while discovering data about the national sport.

Another key stop is Sports City. This area tells how the set of sports buildings located in zone 5 of the capital came about. The story explains the growth of these spaces and their impact on the training of athletes. It is a section that connects the past with the present and helps understand why these facilities are so important for Guatemalan sports.

In this part of the route, the work and support for prioritized athletes is detailed. The exhibition explains how their preparation towards high competitiveness is accompanied and what facilities the institution manages in different regions of the country. The second level closes with the outdoor Art and Sports gallery. It is a space for passage and rest where you can see portraits of Guatemalan athletes who achieved outstanding results.

The museum continues on the first level with the exhibition of the olympism. This section is divided into ten main areas ranging from the Origin of the Sport to the Olympic Experience. Here you can learn basic concepts, symbols, values ​​and key moments of the Olympic movement, always with a didactic and close approach.

He Sports Museum It is located on Route 2 Vía 5 1-29, zone 4 of Guatemala City. It is open from Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, weekends from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm, closed on Mondays and admission is free. It also offers guided tours for schools and colleges.
