A 100% free pop-up store is coming to Marseille in March 2026. Dates, operation, vouchers and conditions to take advantage of it at La Valentine.
What if shopping cost nothing, absolutely nothing? In March 2026, Marseille residents will be able to test this very real concept: a 100% free pop-up store opens its doors at the La Galerie – La Valentine shopping center, in the 11th arrondissement. In fact, for several days, everyone will be able to donate everyday objects and leave with others, without spending a cent. Called Geev Shop Tour, the event is supported by the Geev peer-to-peer donation application. After stopping in several French cities, the tour arrives in Marseille with a clear objective: to encourage reuse and offer a concrete boost to purchasing power, at a time when spring sorting is essential in many homes. Thus, from March 11 to 28, 2026, collections, vouchers and free items will punctuate the life of the La Valentine shopping center. Here’s how this store works like no other.
A major collection from March 11 to 14, 2026 with vouchers available
The first highlight will take place from March 11 to 14, 2026. Residents are invited to come and drop off objects they no longer use: decoration, books, toys, crockery, small equipment, etc. The idea is simple: circulate what is sleeping in the cupboards rather than leaving it unused.
To encourage donations, an incentive operation is planned. For five items donated, a €5 voucher valid throughout the shopping center will be offered, up to a limit of two vouchers per person. A way to combine business with pleasure by decluttering your interior while benefiting from an immediate advantage.
From March 18 to 21 then March 27 and 28: collect up to 5 free items
After the collection phase, time for opening to the public. In addition, the store will welcome visitors from March 18 to 21, then March 27 and 28, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. And for good reason, the objects collected will be made available free of charge. Each visitor will be able to leave with a maximum of five objects per week, without any payment. Donations will remain possible throughout the duration of the event, which will allow the stock to evolve over the days and regularly offer new finds.
To collect items, you will need to download the Geev application, create an account and present your QR code directly in store. Launched in 2017 by Hakim Baka and Florian Blanc, the platform now brings together more than 6.5 million users across France.
Located at La Galerie – La Valentine, this pop-up store is part of an approach to local and concrete reuse. To do this, the principle is based on a simple exchange, according to local media
The Candy et Secret Marseille : give, recover, start again. For a few days in March 2026, the Marseille shopping center will become a place where objects change hands without going through the checkout.
