WELCOMING the end of year holidays, Lego Indonesia launched a campaign centered on the theme of family togetherness and creative play. This campaign aims to encourage parents, children and friends to create quality moments and meaningful memories through play activities.
As the main highlight of this year’s celebration, Lego Indonesia, for the first time in Indonesia, is presenting a giant Christmas Tree made from Lego bricks.
This large-scale installation stands 4.5 meters tall and was assembled using a total of 298,530 LEGO bricks. The construction itself took up to 1,608 hours, carried out by 22 professional Lego Model Builders.
This iconic installation is the center of the Lego Holiday Experience, which will be held at 23 Paskal Bandung from 11 December 2025 to 11 January 2026.
Marketing Director of The Lego Group Rohan Mathur explained that holidays are the right time to celebrate togetherness.
“We are presenting this year’s Holiday Campaign so that Indonesian families can enjoy a fun playing experience, while creating precious memories together. The presence of the first real-sized Lego brick Christmas Tree in Indonesia is a symbol of creativity and holiday warmth,” he said.
The importance of playing together during the holidays is also supported by data. Based on the Lego Play Well Report 2024, 98% of Indonesian parents believe that playing can strengthen family relationships.
The comedian and artist couple, Raditya Dika and Anissa Aziza, also shared their experiences in the talk show #MainBarengBerbagiCeria. They emphasize that the presence of parents is the greatest gift for children.
“Playing Lego bricks together makes us share stories, imagine and build things together, both our creations and our relationships,” said Anissa Aziza.
Beyond the Christmas tree installation, the Lego Holiday Experience in Bandung offers five thematic activity zones designed to hone children’s imagination and exploration, including:
- Garage Sleigh It, where visitors can build holiday-themed vehicles from bricks.
- Kitchen Gingerbread Glow-Up, invites visitors to make Christmas decorations.
- Outdoor Party Tallest Tree Tournament, a challenge to build the tallest tree in the shortest time.
This activity provides a unique opportunity for families to create together and capture creative holiday moments. (Z-1)
