The arrival of thunderstorms is becoming clearer in the Rhône and in Lyon, this Sunday, May 11. From the start of the evening, showers should fall into the department which is placed in yellow vigilance by Météo France, just like the Loire, the Ain, the Isère or the Drôme and the Ardèche.

In total, more than 70 departments are placed in yellow vigilance to thunderstorms this Sunday.

Thunderstorms in Lyon from 7 p.m.

Regarding Lyon, locally stormy showers are expected at the end of the afternoon / early evening. From 7 p.m., thunderstorms should be accompanied by gusts at 50 km/h And could last at least until 9 p.m.

In the rest of the Rhône, thunderstorms should also start around 7 p.m., according to Météo France forecasts.

Here is the list of the municipalities concerned: L’Arbresle, Pusignan, Neuville-sur-Saône, Tarare, Villefranche-sur-Saône, Thizy, Beaujeu, Belleville, Chauffailles and Trades. These thunderstorms could last until 10 p.m. in places, especially north of the department.
