In order to celebrate its 51st birthday, Grand Sahid Jaya Jakarta held an activity Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by sharing happiness with 510 orphanage children in Jakarta. This event is a form of gratitude for the long journey of the hotel in facing various challenges, including the economic crisis and Pandemi Covid-19. In addition, the CSR program is also a clear proof of Grand Sahid Jaya Jakarta’s commitment in having a positive impact on the community, especially children in need.
As part of the celebration, Grand Sahid Jaya Jakarta also held an employee bazaar, where employees participated in presenting various special products and foods. This event is also a place to break the fast together, creating an atmosphere full of togetherness between management and employees.

At the age of 51, Grand Sahid Jaya Jakarta not only focused on business, but also collaborated with various parties to support ecosystems and the environment. One of the main initiatives is the cooperation with Indonesian senses in managing clothing waste, where used clothing from employees and guests is collected and recycled into employee uniforms that are used every Friday. In addition, the hotel also features a pop art wall with the theme “Kali Asa” (River Harapan) as part of the environmental awareness campaign.
Other collaboration is done with kick your butts to recycle cigarette waste into a coaster used in hotel restaurants. This program will continue to develop as part of a commitment to sustainability.

This change is carried out through controlled internal processes to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of its implementation.
