“Our religious committee met at the Grande Mosque de Paris, with several Muslim federations, for the night of doubt on Saturday March 29, 2025, 29th day of the blessed month of Ramadan”said the institution.
“The commission noted the possibility of observing the new moon and thus determined the date of Eid El-Fitr in France on Sunday March 30, 2025”she added.

Passage to summer time
The great mosque recalls that there is a subtlety this year, with the passage at summer time, also scheduled for Sunday. “We ask the faithful to pay attention to the passage at summer time which will occur this Sunday: at 2 am, it will actually be 3 hours”, she recalls, adding that she would organize two prayers, at 8 a.m. and 8:45 a.m.
