Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel Celebrates its 35th Anniversary with a Series of Social and Environmental Actions

In commemoration of its 35th anniversary, Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel is holding a number of social, cultural and environmental activities that emphasize its commitment to sustainability and community welfare.

The series of celebratory activities include spiritual visits, donations to the Bali Caring Child Cancer Foundation, as well as batik workshops for local businesses. The hotel also displays an art exhibition entitled “Heartbeat Rhythm” which highlights the emotional expressions of artists.

The focus on health is realized through breast cancer education and screening, blood donations, general health checks, and free mental health consultations. In the environmental sector, the hotel collaborates with the Mangrove Care Forum to hold a beach clean campaign, plant mangrove trees and donate rubbish bins to SD Negeri 2 and SD Negeri 5 Kuta.

This activity received support from Artha Graha Peduli under the auspices of the Artha Graha Group, which has a similar vision in protecting the environment and increasing social responsibility. Apart from that, the hotel also distributed basic food packages to local residents and held sports competitions between Artha Graha Bali units.

The “Discovery Got Talent” event also enlivened the celebration, providing space for staff to showcase their talents. The highlight of the event was marked by an official memorial ceremony and employee gathering as a form of appreciation for the dedication of the entire team.

General Manager of Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel, Luis Daniel Garcia, said that 35 years of age was an important moment for the hotel.

“This achievement reflects our dedication to providing the best service and building strong relationships with the community and the environment. Through this series of activities, we emphasize our commitment to care, culture and sustainability,” he said.
