Vienna (OTS) – The President of Vienna Tourism, City Councilor for Economic Affairs Peter Hanke, together with Tourism Director Norbert Kettner, welcomed Anita Paic, who is now strengthening the management team at Vienna Tourism: As head of the “B2B Management” department, she is responsible for contacts with the international travel industry and also the Vienna Convention Bureau , which promotes congresses and company meetings for the city.
Anita Paic (52) is an expert in strategic marketing communications with many years of international corporate experience. She has gained this in several management positions within the Vienna visitor economy – including in the FMTG Falkensteiner Michaeler Tourism Group, the Sacher Hotels and Marriott International. From 2009 to 2016, as head of the sales department, she was responsible for the sales strategy of the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien.

The tasks of the department now headed by Paic include the Vienna Convention Bureau, which is responsible for the global acquisition of congresses, company meetings and incentives as well as extensive support for meeting organizers. The International B2B Relations team is the main contact for the travel industry and acts as an intermediary between the Viennese and international travel industries. The focus is on marketing measures for tourism origin markets with a focus on premium target groups, the positioning of Vienna as an art and culture metropolis and addressing the global luxury travel segment. The B2B Marketing Communications team is responsible for Vienna Tourism’s communication initiatives that are aimed at the areas of travel trade, international mobility and the meeting industry. Paic grew up in Vienna, holds a degree in tourism management, is an academically certified advertising manager, and completed her Executive Master of Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business as well as her Master of Arts in business and organizational psychology at the Danube University Krems.
