In commemoration of Batik Day, Pullman Bali Legian Beach is proud to hold Pullman Artist Arena: Batik Beyond Borders. Recognized by UNESCO in 2009 as part of Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of HumanityBatik represents expertise, symbolism, and identity that is very closely related to Indonesian culture.
This event exceeds the limits, combining art, fashion, dance, music, and design in a spectacular night that celebrates the beauty of eternal batik while embracing contemporary creativity.

The event began with a batik workshop guided by a famous Indonesian painter, Zulham Damanik (ZD), who guided the participants to make batik inspired arts on canvas. Guests bring home their respective works complete with ZD signatures, making this experience memorable and meaningful as a bridge between cultural heritage and contemporary art.
In the afternoon until the evening in the Garden Square presents a classy show. The Manca Naluri Dance Group, Amazing Dance Indonesia 2024 winner, features choreography that combines traditional dances with a modern touch.
Lenny Hartono Management presents models that have appeared on the international stage, ranging from the New York Fashion Week to Miss Teenager Universe 2024. Exclusive batik collections by Allus Bali and Cap Bali appear stunning; Increasingly perfected with an elegant touch from Sari Kayana Makeup Artist, a professional makeup figure whose work adds charm and elegance to the fashion show that night is increasingly lively with live music, dynamic DJ appearance, and artistic collaboration.
More than a show, Batik Beyond Borders emphasized the role of Pullman Bali Legian Beach as a cultural ambassador who supported Indonesia’s heritage while providing space for contemporary expressions.
