Baringin Sakato Fest 1, which showcases the richness of Minangkabau art and culture, took place lively at Cindua Mato Field, Batusangkar. The annual event initiated by Sanggar Baringin Sakato, under the guidance of Ully Okterini, received special attention from the community and local officials.

By presenting Minangkabau creative dances and traditional music performances, this festival is a real form of preserving local culture packaged in entertaining art activities. Sanggar Baringin Sakato from Nagari Baringin, Lima Kaum District, showed high dedication in maintaining tradition through the stunning performances of the studio children who managed to attract the attention of the audience.

The Head of Baringin Village, Rahmat Aliya Andri Dt. Peto Kayo, expressed his gratitude to Regent Eka Putra and other parties who have supported the implementation of the event. He also hopes that this festival can continue to grow with full support from the local government, especially for cultural preservation activities in the future.

“We hope that Sanggar Baringin Sakato will continue to receive support from the local government so that it can continue to develop and become a center for Minangkabau cultural education,” said Rahmat Aliya Andri.

Tanah Datar Regent Eka Putra appreciated the commitment of Sanggar Baringin Sakato in promoting and preserving local culture. He expressed his full support for the activity, even promising assistance in the form of a set of art tools and sound system to support studio activities.
