The deputy for the 16th constituency of Bouches-du-Rhône, Emmanuel Taché, allegedly used a vehicle registered in the name of his former driver, after the latter’s dismissal.

This Wednesday, December 17, during a summary hearing before the Nîmes judicial court, a case concerning the deputy Emmanuel Taché (RN) was brought to the attention of the court. The parliamentarian would have knowingly used a vehicle registered in the name of his former driver, after having fired him. “It was my client’s name that was on the registration document.” explains Maître Serge Tavetian, lawyer for the injured driver.

The former driver then allegedly filed two complaints against the deputy for identity theft. Summoned to court, Emmanuel Taché is assisted by Catherine Jaouen, who also held an elected mandate under the label of National gathering and replacing Maître Varaut, having intervened in the interests of Marine Le Pen. Proceedings with the Marseille industrial tribunal were also launched by the former driver against the MP for, among other things, unpaid overtime. The Peugeot vehicle was returned to the driver only a few days before the hearing. “It was in progress”, says Maître Jaouen to the court, recalling that the restitution took place on November 4, 2025, two days after his client’s summons. “It was regularized, because I assigned”, concludes Master Tavetian.
