Architectural identity is one of the attractions for tourists to visit a tourist destination. With a unique identity that gives a deep impression, tourists will be interested in visiting certain tourist destinations, especially during the year-end holidays. This was responded to by Klive Beach Club, one of the beach clubs in the Uluwatu area, Bali, which emphasized its architectural identity entering its first year of operation in the area.

This beach club carries the concept of a seven-level area that descends from the cliff to the shoreline, forming a cliff-to-sea structure which is still rarely found in Bali.

Klive Beach Club Marketing Manager Jehan Khaleda said the seven levels were designed with different functions, starting from the dining area at the top to direct access to the sea at the lowest level.

From the highest point, he said, tourists can enjoy the panoramic view of the Indian Ocean with gradations of blue that change with the light. As for the middle level, the atmosphere is more shady and intimate for relaxing, before ending at the beach sand area which is the center of marine activity.

On the other hand, water activities are one of the main attractions, including clear kayaks and stand-up paddle boards. The relatively calm waters in this area are considered safe for beginners and experienced tourists. This activity is directly connected to the lower area so that tourists can move from the sea to the relaxing area without stopping.

“At Klive, tourists can immediately move from water activities to the relaxing area without stopping. Clear kayaks and paddle boards are right under the cliff, so after enjoying the sea, they can immediately return to the F&B area,” said Jehan, Tuesday (23/12/2025).

From a culinary perspective, the kitchen is under the direction of Executive Chef Marco Petriacci. He brings an approach that combines classic Italian techniques with local Balinese ingredients, with an emphasis on clarity and balance of flavours. For the drink line, there is Bar Manager I Putu Ardiana who presents concoctions based on tropical flora and local Balinese character.
“Our goal is simple, the food should reflect the land, climate and character of this place,” explains Marco Petriacci.

Jehan Khaleda is optimistic that ahead of the Christmas and New Year holidays (Nataru 2025), Bali, especially the Uluwatu area, will become a magnet for tourists visiting Bali.

Moreover, Uluwatu has long been famous for its dramatic cliffs, exotic beaches and rich Balinese culture, making it suitable for lovers of surfing, natural beauty and spiritual cultural experiences.

“With a multi-level concept, marine activities, and a curated culinary and beverage approach, we believe that Klive Beach Club can become one of the prominent beach club destinations in Uluwatu, whether for lunch, enjoying the sunset, or celebrating the evening by the sea,” concluded Jehan. (D-2)
