A new kind of accommodation service Bob W Kaarti has opened in Kaartinkaupunki, Helsinki.
Bob W Kaarti is a hybrid of traditional hotel and Airbnb accommodation. There is no hotel staff on site at all.
The building, which previously served as the Rivoli Hotel, has been renovated by interior design agency Koko3. Bob W Kaart has 55 rooms and suites, all with kitchenettes. In addition, residents can use the shared kitchen, communal workspace and sauna.
– The demand for local tourism experiences and flexible, effortless accommodation is growing explosively, says Bob W’s founder and CEO Niko Karstikko in the bulletin.
– Bob W is a hybrid between Airbnb and a hotel, offering local authenticity, safety and hotel quality, as well as short-term and long-term rentals. This type of accommodation satisfies the ever-changing needs of tourists and also better supports longer stays, says Karstikko.
Bob W operates in 17 cities in ten countries.
