An indictment was issued by the Paris court on Friday October 17, 2025 against a clerk officiating on site. Attached to the sentence execution department at the courthouse, the official is suspected of “criminal conspiracy”, “money laundering”, “violation of professional secrecy” and “diversion of the purpose of a personal data processing system”, details The Parisian Tuesday November 4, 2025.
The prosecution had requested the suspect’s provisional detention but the latter, pregnant and suffering from health problems, was ultimately placed under judicial supervision. The prosecution appealed. The clerk is also prohibited from leaving the territory, going to court or contacting people involved in the acts of which she is suspected.
“A person from their entourage”
A prison guard was attacked at his home in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis) in September 2024 by men who insulted him by referring to his profession. An investigation showed that the perpetrators “had been able to benefit from information, in particular through a person close to them working at the Paris court”indicated the prosecution.
The Ile-de-France daily explains that other investigations revealed that the suspect had repeatedly questioned the courthouse’s computer systems without this being justified in the context of her work. Large payments were also made into bank accounts. Investigators are looking for its origin.
