Today, during the day, it will be cloudy, initially with freezing fog and even cloudy in the east, writes ČHMÚ.

From the northwest, rain or rain with snow will enter our territory. It will gradually turn into snowfall from the same direction, even heavier in places. It will be slightly windy, a moderate north to northeast wind of 3 to 7 m/s is expected.

Meteorologists warn of a continuous snow cover, which will gradually begin to form on Saturday afternoon and evening, and the formation of ice and snow tongues in the evening. The highest daily temperatures will be up to around 9 degrees in Moravia, but in the rest of the territory it will be between 0 and 5 degrees and in the mountains at 1000 m around -1 degree.

As for the pressure, a weaker, even strong rise is expected in the evening.

Meteorologists expect an even greater temperature drop on Sunday. From the morning it will be cloudy in most areas and it will snow heavily. In the course of the day, the precipitation and gradually the clouds from the northwest will begin to decrease. There will be a moderate north to northwest wind of 3 to 7 m/s, which will weaken during the day and change to the southeast.

At night and in the morning, the formation of ice or frost is expected and, especially in the eastern half of the territory, the formation of snow tongues. Up to 5 cm is expected, in the east up to around 10 cm of new snow.

The highest daytime temperatures will fall to +1 to -4 degrees, the lowest night temperatures will range between 0 and -5 degrees.
