They are suspected of having illegally consulted and transmitted sensitive files to relatives of the DZ Mafia.

This is the first case resulting in indictments from the anti-corruption unit of the Marseille public prosecutor’s office set up in October, which is currently handling 18 cases, according to our information.

Information for contribution

The first employee, aged 26, is suspected of having consulted and transmitted, on several occasions between January 2023 and July 2025, professional files to inform her companion, involved in drug cases. She had access to these files as part of these functions, specifies the Marseille prosecutor’s office.

She was indicted for “misuse of the purpose of processing personal data” and placed under judicial supervision, with a ban on going to court.

The second, a young woman of 24, is suspected of having consulted, on around fifty occasions, in 2024 but also in 2025, files linked to assassination cases, which she then allegedly transmitted to her former boyfriend, a man considered close to the DZ Mafia.

But that’s not all. According to the Marseille prosecutor’s office, in exchange for this information, she received money and benefited from gifts and travel.

Former boyfriend indicted

The assistant was placed under the status of assisted witness for “passive corruption” and “criminal conspiracy”, and indicted for “diversion of the purpose of a personal data processing file”, “violation of professional secrecy” and “revelation of information on an investigation or investigation for a crime or offense relating to organized crime to a person likely to be involved”.

She was placed under judicial control, including a ban on exercising any function within the Ministries of Justice, the Interior or Defense.

The Marseille prosecutor’s office, which called for the two young women to be placed in pre-trial detention, appealed the decision of the judge of freedoms and detention (JLD) of a judicial review.

Her former boyfriend, linked to the DZ Mafia, was also indicted for “active corruption”, “concealment of files” and “concealment of violation of the secrecy of the investigation and instruction”. He was also placed under judicial supervision, a decision against which the prosecution also appealed.
