Mangkuluhur Artotel Suites is proud to present a contemporary art exhibition titled “Living Lines”, the collaboration between J+ Art Awards and Artotel Group. This exhibition presents the works of selected artists from Open Call J+ 2025. “Living Lines” officially opened on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 19.00 WIB at Artspace, Mangkuluhur Artotel Suites, and will last until 19 November 2025.

This exhibition features five artists with various visual and narrative approaches. Husin through the work of Bunga Life emphasizes nature as a source of life. Beauty Clarabelle, through The Prapatan and A Bloom of Tranquility, reflects human connectivity and the space of calm.

Geed Saputra and between forward or backward highlighting the tension between Modernity and Spirituality of Bali, using the style of “Young Artist” as a reading lens. Sumastania Widyandari through The Errands (Daytime & Nighttime) explores the presence of self and relationships with the surrounding environment.

While Yelmi Nanda Resfi through the Maelo pathway raised the collective tradition of boat making in West Sumatra as a symbol of mutual cooperation that is still alive today.

J+ Art Awards 2025 received nearly 500 participation from 42 countries, and was curated by four international judges: Mona Liem (Connected Art Platform & Terra Nexus Art & Bali), Tobias Brunner (artist and designer from Zurich), Abby Hermosilla (Moma New York curator), and YESSIOW (founder of Tangi Street Art Festivals Bali, Forbes 30 Asia 2024).

“This exhibition is not just a celebration of art, but also the manifestation of the spirit of collaboration, diversity, and courage to express. We are proud to be a space for young Indonesian and talented artists to show their work to the world,” said Faisal Tranggono, General Manager of Mangkuluhur Artotel Suites. After Jakarta, this exhibition will continue to Artotel Bianti Yogyakarta in November 2025 as part of a sustainable collaboration between Artotel Group and J+ Art Awards.
