Ex-Hurricane Leslie disrupts the weather in Paris and Île-de-France, the region placed on thunderstorm alert

After Kirk passes by, another former hurricane, named Leslie, will disrupt the weather in a large part of the country. If five departments in the south-east were placed in vigilance orange with thunderstorms by Météo France, Paris and Île-de-France are in yellow.

The effects of Leslie

The risks of disruption are therefore linked to Storm Leslie, which arrived on Tuesday October 15, 2024 from Portugal and carrying with it “tropical” air (very) loaded with humidity, explains to actu the meteorologist Yann Amice.

On the program: risks of rain and thunderstorms from the end of this Wednesday. Before that, the sun should shine and the temperatures should be particularly mild: it will be 23°C at 2 p.m. and again 20°C at 8 p.m.

In Paris and Île-de-France, the sky on Thursday October 17, 2024 will be “busy” and the weather “changing giving showers in the middle of the day” and temperatures between 17°C and 20°C. THE effects of the ex-hurricane are expected to dissipate on Friday October 18, 2024. The weather will be between clearings and clouds and the mercury will oscillate from 15°C to 18°C.
